No, Liv Frances is not winking at the camera. She had a bug bite on her forehead on Saturday which turned into a goose egg on Sunday which then proceeded (thanks to wonderful gravity) to move down to her eye and practically seal it shut (the picture is after Benadryl). Well you have to understand that it was around six in the morning and seeing this child coming down the stairs threw me into a total panic. TOTAL panic. I had visions of the doctor having to cut half of her face off and her losing her whole eye ball...yep, just a little bit of an over reaction.I rushed her to the pediatrician and after about a ten minute visit it was confirmed that it was indeed a bug bite and gravity had played a role in the swelling moving to the eye.
Geez...what a relief.
She looks much better today.
