We finally bit the bullet, jumped off the cliff, dove off the high dive.....
Yep, we put our house on the market. In a market that was doomed we took the plunge. David and I both said that we were really happy where we were but we would also really like to be buyers in this down market. After talking, praying about it and renting a small storage unit to house a lot of our junk we had the For Sale sign planted in our front yard. Well apparently God wanted us to move because the first people that came to look at it in the first twenty four hours it was on Realtor made an offer and all in the time period of four days. We have agreed on the price. the inspection has been done and everything will be finalized a week from tomorrow. Of course something can still fall through between now and then but it is really looking like our days in this house are numbered.
Now we are set to be homeless come the 19th. It is a little stressful having to move so quickly but we are so confident in God's plan for our little family. It is exciting to think and dream about where we will land next. We put some offers in on three foreclosures so we are waiting to see what the results are from that. Pretty cool.
Pray for us as we try to maneuver these next weeks and pray that our poor kids can somehow not be thrown completely off balance. I have already had a few nervous breakdowns as I walk through our house and think about all that we have done here. Bringing home sweet little baby Liv Frances is the obvious one but we have made so many memories here and we love our neighbors so it is a little bittersweet to leave. I am praying that God shows us which house soon so we can get excited about a specific place. I will send pictures when we (hopefully) have a new abode.
