Yes, that is an indoor clothesline.
Is this considered classy or trashy?
Don't answer that yet.
Will it help if I show you my adorable clothespin holder?
Cute right?
This indoor clothesline makes me want to wear heels and an apron all day long.
It makes me want to bake apple pies and drive a station wagon.
It makes me want to grab my husband's slippers and pipe for him when he gets home from work.
It makes me want to have a dog named Spot and have milk delivered to my front door in glass canisters.
It makes me want to go to the salon every week to have my hair curled and to have television still be in black and white.
But mostly it makes me smile when my husband literally gets clotheslined by the clothesline and says something along the lines of...
"*Mother Heifer! Would you put the dang clothesline away when you are done with it?! That thing is invisible when there are no clothes hanging on it!"
*Yes, he actually uses this phrase. Some things can't be remedied even after ten years of marriage. Or even when your children start to use said "alternative bad word" phrase.
"James Dobson, H-E-L-P us."

Oh my gosh that was too funny! Sometimes I get the urge to dawn a dress, heels, and red lipstick to feather dust the apartment and bring my hubby a martini after a long day of work. Of course, I can barely walk in heels, let alone clean, and my husband doesn't drink, so I'm not sure how that would turn out.
Ha! I can almost hear the "burn you bra" society hissing at us! :)
