The other day, we met up with David for some lunch. We met halfway between our house and his work. It was fun to be with him in the middle of the day and the kids especially loved spending some time with him. After he kissed us all goodbye and buckled all the kids in, he waved and started walking off to his car. Jack looking out the window and watching him go proceeded to have the below conversation with Gwyneth chiming in too.
Jack: Do y'all ever wonder what work is like? (long pause)
Is it fun?
Is it boring?
Is it awesome?
Is it pretty?
Gwyneth: Oh, and there are only boys there.
Jack: Hey, mom! Do you ever wonder what work is like?

Oh! I love this conversation! "Do you ever wonder what work is like, Tiff?" As if raising 3 children and keeping a house going is just normal life and never work, hehe. It's great to listen how children see the world through their eyes... Good to hear updates on your dad (praise the Lord) and how you and the family are. I got to talk to Josh very briefly the other day and I'm excited to hear about his new baby on the way! Miss you all and hope to see you!
